George and his team were great. We unexpectedly had to excavate a lot more than we anticipated and George talked with us every step of the way. Great communication and pictures/videos. My son even enjoyed sitting in the excavator. Thanks for making a crumby situation the better!

I highly recommend George of Hanover Excavation. We had a very large old Locust tree (highly invasive) that had enormous stump that had to be removed. It was close to another large old tree and an old stone pillar. In addition, time was of the essence in removing the stump as we had signed a landscape install contract. I was so stressed out. George came in ASAP and removed the monster stump like a surgeon. No damage to the other tree or stonework. He also removed all of the locust roots- not an easy task. And, again, a few days later (in the middle of a mason project)- another huge stump was found below the ground which needed to be removed. And, finally, one more stump holding up the project. I don't know of many businesses that would help someone so quickly and expertly. I am so grateful

I live and garden on land full of glacial rock. George removed the agreed upon boulders and then some. He made it look easy! His work certainly made my job easier! Looking forward to doing more boulder removal in another part of the yard!

George Pongratz (owner/operator) is good people and very good at what he does. Highly recommend!
