Original Issue: The business has been operating for 102 years, but its current owner—who inherited it—appears to lack the knowledge and professionalism needed to maintain its reputation. He presented himself poorly, wearing unclean clothes and demonstrating a very low level of education. Problem: We purchased a third backflow preventer valve from him after the water company initially provided two different models and later recommended a third model based on the supervisor’s advice. The first two valves were never used, and we were promised they would be returned. However, the owner refused to honor that promise to return the two unused valves, priced approximately $700, which is both unethical and dishonest.

I hired a contractor for a full bathroom renovation and was looking for a jetted bathtub as part of the project. He recommended this vendor, and I was happy to go to an in-person showroom and support a local business. I worked primarily with the owner Mindy on trying to find the right tub for the space while keeping features that were important to me. We met in person, she made some good recommendations, and then we spoke a few times over the phone. Eventually I ordered the tub I thought was a good match over the phone with Mindy. However, when the tub was delivered to my home, I realized it did not have jets placed in the right areas based on what I was looking for & what we had discussed. The tub was not returnable, so I contacted Mindy for solutions. She was responsive, but unavailable

You guys were unnecessarily rude while telling me not to put a replacement part in my water heater. I got the part from a friendlier supply store, and got 2 more years out of my hot water heater. Glad I didn't listen to you. Won't be back.

Never been to a parts supplier that required you to get your own part numbers before you arrive. Ended up going to Johnstone they pulled up all the info in 2 mins. Very disappointed wont be returning to this location

I know next to nothing about plumbing, but came in with detailed pictures of what I had on my current pipe (including measurements) and the name of what shape adapter I needed on the other end. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and quickly identified the part I needed, which I easily installed (so can confirm was the correct piece). He even confirmed what I was trying to hook-up to be sure it was the correct fitting-type. The price was highly competitive: a fraction of what I'd paid for the [incorrect sized] adapter I'd purchased at the big-box general construction store around the corner. I highly recomend these guys for your plumbing pieces needs - it's worth the stop.
