The Hanselman brothers and their skilled team were an absolute pleasure to work with. James designed a major landscaping project based on Japanese garden principles which included building custom fencing and a gate as well as new fieldstone walks, stepping stones, path lighting and a water feature . They also placed boulders and many trees and shrubs. The team was very pleasant to work with and extremely knowledgeable— the results are beautiful. We are very pleased and look forward to enjoying our new garden for many years to come. We highly recommend them!

Hanselman Landscaping is tremendous. I got an in-person quote from Sean. Shortly thereafter, Eric came out to trim my maple tree that was in disrepair. What an artist! He spent hours circling the tree, taking pictures, and sharing his vision for the future of the tree with me. Even in the winter when the tree has no leaves, I’m mesmerized by the lyrical movement in the branches now that it’s been trimmed by these professionals. I highly recommend them. Better service and more affordable than the big guys. If you have a maple tree, you definitely need Hanselman Landscaping!

Every year to two I hire Hanselman Landscape to freshen up the trees and shrubs in my large city yard. I am a believer in native plants and they really grow well in the climate we have here in Lancaster. George and Julia arrived with a large truck full of implements and set to work as soon as they heard my wants for the yard. Not only did they follow all of my directions, but if I had not noticed a vine going astray, they corrected its course. I am very satisfied every time with their knowledge of plants and how best to prune the really many kinds of natives I have growing! While its web site is full of fantastic plant layouts, do not be afraid of Hanselman workers coming to a native setting!

Hanselman Landscape exceeded my expectations with a landscape design and installation for a new build home. They were extremely attentive, responsive and professional. My project was not large but the thoughtfulness and care which went into the design was exceptional. Krista went above and beyond sourcing plants and varieties that weren’t common.
