Harry Barr Plumbing & Heating

I am normally pretty handy but ran into a tricky situation trying to replace a wall-mounted faucet with a weird pipe and sink situation. I needed to brace pipes and do a lot more than just swap out the faucet. Harry's team came in and found a way to make it work and look good. They troubleshooted quickly and left everything in better shape than when they arrived. Before we hired them, Harry (I think) had come out to do the estimate and was so honest about what he thought I could do myself vs. was worth paying for. Would definitely trust them again with future projects!

Encountered what I thought was a minor heating issue that I almost discounted, if not for the extreme cold temperatures recently. Decided to call Harry Barr Plumbing, whom I’ve used multiple times in the past and scheduled a service call. Nick quickly assessed the issue I had with my heating system. He throughly explained the problem and rationale for what parts would need to be replaced. He completed the necessary repairs in a timely manner and was very conscientious about his work. He then reviewed with me all the work that was done and confirmed that all of my heating issues were resolved. Every encounter I have had with the Harry Barr Plumbing staff has been professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Highly recommended and trustworthy company!!

Had a leak behind a wall for my shower. Opened up the wall and yup, there it was. Called a plumber and what a nightmare. The leak was worse and of course he wouldn't return my calls. Glad I didn't pay him upfront. I called other big name companies but they were so overpriced and contradicted what I would be paying for which left me knowing this wasn't the company for me. I called Harry Barr Plumbing but they couldn't get to me until this morning. Nick showed up on time. Quickly diagnosed the issue and quoted me a price. It turned out, he was able to use some of the parts I already had installed. Corrected all the other issues that the previous "plumber" screwed up. Nick made sure everything was working properly. Thank you so much for your honesty with the frozen pipes and your advice. Because of your advice, our water just came back. Ashley is the best!! I recommend them 100%. They were also here for my boiler, again their honesty was over and above!

I called this morning for a non-emergency installation of replacement parts for two different sinks. I asked if Grant still worked for them, and was told yes, as he had been here before. They told me they weren’t sure if they could get to me today, then called less than an hour later saying Grant would be here soon. Exceptional customer service, and with all due respect to all their employees, ask for Grant. He is as nice as they come, efficient, and does his work in a timely manner, while smiling the entire job.
