Hawkeye Electric

I called to get a quote from Hawkeye Services and decided to not book an appointment, but then I keep getting phone calls from Horizion Services (I think they merged). My review is solely based on the fact how after that phone call, Horizon Services now calls my number almost every single day and I have blocked their number but that doesn't stop them from leaving voice-mails, which is the same exact automated message about 'getting an exclusive discount' - for a job they don't even know the details about. I have repeatedly called them to get my number removed from their calling list, each time they said they did it, and then the phone calls still continue. They do incessantly call multiple times a day, even on Saturdays.

Dan came out and fixed our breaker box same day as I called. He was very knowledgeable and informative with all the questions I had; He made sure I knew what he was doing was fair and something I wanted to do after I had a bad experience with a predatory company that quoted me $12,000. Dan got the job done in 2 hours and under $300. Definitely calling Hawkeye for any future electrical problems!

We needed an outdoor outlet installed on very short notice. Hawkeye Electric was able to squeeze us into their schedule during a very busy time of the year. The on-site electrician was on-time, listened to what we needed, inspected the current set-up and made several helpful suggestions. The quality of the work was fantastic, quickly completed and fairly priced. We had an overall great experience. We would definitively do business with them again.

We had to call someone to evaluate the wiring in our house because of some concerns with our light fixtures. Hawkeye told us initially that it would be a week before they could get us scheduled but they ended up fitting us in the next day. We had Luke for our technician. He was outstanding, personable and did a great job putting us at ease. And I’d also like to point out that this is the kind of service call that a company with less scruples might take advantage and tell us that we needed to completely rewire the house. I wouldn’t have known any better. Hawkeye was honest and did a great job for us.

I am very impressed with Hawkeye Electric! We needed a couple of small jobs completed around our house and had a hard time finding an Electrician that had time or would call me back. Hawkeye not only got me scheduled on the first call, but showed up on time and finished the job quickly. I will definitely use them again and refer them out whenever I can.
