H&B Heating and Air Conditioning

Zero honesty, a piece part had to be replaced, my wife asked him if it was the same part and first he said yes, then it appears with a different part and charges 240 dollars for a part that its original price is $89 dollars. Zero honesty!! Apart from saying that he would go one day and didn’t even call to say he couldn’t go, he ended up arriving the next day. Completely not recommended. Update- This guy came back today to check the work he did and now it turns out that he thinks it’s another part. I call someone else from another company and first that the cables he connected are badly connected, and the initial problem had nothing to do with that part. Do yourself a favor and don’t let this guy steal your money, because he will do it as soon as you give him the opportunity.

Unfortunately, we can't give a good review. Although they are friendly, they didn't fix our heating problem I'm fact they'll replaced two parts took over $500 and left. We contacted them about the problem not being fixed and now we had a leak. He said he would stop by the following day, never did and still haven't over a week later. Ended up having a different heating guy come to fix the issue. Save your money and hire someone else.

Quite literally the ONLY company who would answer the phone or get out here in a reasonable amount of time, he offered to come the same night but it was so late so I had him come the next morning. Repaired quickly and cheap, heating ran fine for a month and eventually my 50 year old boiler went out and Alfred worked with me to get it replaced within less than 48 hours, right before it was in the negatives. I did tons of research on prices and can confidently say I got a great deal on the installation of a brand new boiler. On my own with my toddler, and not being from this area, being in the negative temps with no heat could’ve been a scary situation but H&B really came through for us. Will always recommend.

My AC went out on a Thursday. I had a family member look and on Friday started to call every single person on the list when I searched HVAC near me. I was in a pretty big rush due to having a toddler and being 29 weeks pregnant with twins. Out of every single person who said they were 24 hours Alfred was the only person to get back to me ASAP. I still haven’t heard back from a few companies with 100’s of great reviews that say they are 24hours. Anyone who has since called me back was either busy until the following Thursday or could come diagnose with a fee. I was definitely hesitant as I’m a look at reviews person but thought at least he was the only one to call me back. He came out on the weekend, didn’t even charge me, determined the problem (needing a new unit) and Monday came back to

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN: My company called "Alfred" last year to look at one of the units we were having issues with. He came and told us how we needed to fix it. Paid for the part and he has never come back to install and fix the issue. We have called numerous times and if he knows the number we are calling from he does not answer. We called him from a new number and he answered. Told us he would be here and what time...Still waiting for good ole Alfred.
