Carol did an amazing job on our back yard. She took a typical ho-hum Chicago back yard and turned it into an extension of our house. She came high recommended by past clients and now I know why. I felt lucky to find her. Carol and her crew built a huge Kentucky blue stone patio, a seat wall, a new back porch and stairs, a new fence and raised beds + they planted everything but the vegetable garden (because I wanted to do it.) She also arranged for an electrician and a plumber for some of the mods I requested. I didn't have to worry about a thing except making a few decisions. Her memory and attention to detail is very impressive. Heffernan Landscape Design came highly recommended by a friend. I had an unusual request; rather than building and designing a beautiful yard, I needed a severely overgrown former garden and rock garden that took over my back yard to be completely torn out and leveled and replaced with sod so that it was manageable. Even though it was no doubt a smaller and decidedly more boring job, I'm sure, they took it on and in less than two days' time I had a yard that looks gorgeous and manageable that can now be mowed and maintained by a non-gardener (me). THANK YOU for taking care of this mess and turning it into an outdoor haven I can now hang out in without shame and dread! I'm gobsmacked by the quick turnaround and utter professionalism.
