I had such a great experience with Helms Electric. Bob arrived early, was professional, and fixed all three of my remote-control fans. He also replaced all the bulbs in my hallway ceiling flush lamps, which made such a difference. On top of that, he went out of his way to help me save money and shared helpful tips about the electrical panel in my older home. What impressed me most was his care and attention to detail like putting down a cover before setting up his ladder to keep things clean. Out of all the contractors I’ve hired since moving into my new old home, which has felt overwhelming at times, Bob has been the best. I highly recommend Helms Electric for anyone looking for quality, trustworthy electrical service.

I called Bob about some problems with our electric on our screened porch. He scheduled me for the next morning and showed up right on time. Bob quickly diagnosed the problem and completed the repair. He even went out of his way to remove a wasp nest that he found in one of the light sockets. I would highly recommend Helms electric and will be calling Bob with all of our future electric needs.

Bob was able to give us a quick and accurate estimate over the phone based on our scope of work (floodlight install) and then came out quickly to complete the project. He was professional and respectful of our home and I was pleasantly surprised when I heard him vacuuming up his work area from where he had to drill through the wall. He worked efficiently and left no trace that he was here. The floodlight looks great and we will definitely use Bob for our future needs!

Bob has helped me several times over the past few years with various projects (ceiling fans, light fixtures, ceiling can lights, undermount lighting, list goes on and on). He’s the absolute best! Bob and his helper Blake did a phenomenal job taking care of all the projects we needed done. They were totally organized, neat, on time and knew how to solve a problem ( hiding wiring for a cable box and installing a new outlet in kitchen cabinet ) where other electricians were ready to punch holes in the drywall. More than impressed with their work. Will recommend them to all family and friends without hesitation. In almost 40 years of living in our house, Helm's electric is one of only three contractors we would happily re-hire because of their great work ethnics.
