Hertless Air Conditioning And Heating Mechanical

Hertless has been sent out two times by our home warranty, most recently to replace our upstairs unit. Both times they have been great! My husband and I both work from home and they were so efficient (and quiet!)we hardly knew they were there. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them outside of home warranty.

Not very efficient or dependable when contacted to do repairs causing unreasonable delays for homeowners whose furnace failed to work leaving the customer freezing at home in the dead of winter. The homeowner is an elderly senior citizen whose health was in jeopardy because of the unreasonable delay although they tout 24/7 emergency service. Not recommended, since their words do not match their actions. Look to James River for dependability and excellent customer service.

I was very disappointed in the company! This company tried to use me, by swindling his bill that the warranty company had charged him for the mistake he made make. He came in accessed the problem, reported back and left us stranded in the cold weather for over a month! The warranty company had approved for a new unit, Heartless order, that unit was damage which set us back, then, the second unit came in of the wrong one he had ordered, then finally the third unit came in, supposedly being the right one, but Heartless tried to swindled me out of $2095.00 dollars of his mistake for which he was charged by the warranty and one tried to place his massive bill on me! Hertless was sent to us by our warranty company Choice to do some repairs on our HVAC. Our unit was not turning off and had too much heat and the thermostat was not working. The only way we could turn our unit off was to switch it off in the panel box. Hertless came out and diagnosed our issue and told us that our mother board had went out. They said that they could find the part to replace and get it up running. A week later Monday 2/17 they arrived to fix our unit and it took about an hour or so. When the technician left our home the unit was finally after 3 weeks up and going and turning off properly. About an hour and a half later the unit stopped completely and the thermostat went blank. Our heat went out right before last week’s snowstorm, but they got our HVAC system up and running just enough to get us through. We had to wait for a part to fully fix it, and they came out on Presidents’ Day to install it. Great service—friendly, professional, and fairly priced. I’ll definitely be recommending them to my friends in Lakeside and RVA!
