Great service by Bill. Always fast at a great price. I like that he keeps your machine indoors instead of out in the elements, explains exactly what he did and gives tips to keep your machine running smoothly down the road. I highly recommend his service over places like Earl’s in Byron.

I went to this place to get parts for a carburetor that a small engine repair shop in Byron wouldn't help out with (that dude there was worthless) Hilltop helped out with no issues. Bob was very helpful and had great advice. I'm glad I made a trip there. If you need help with your small engine, give this place a try.

I don't normally do ratings or reviews but I felt like I Just had to for Hilltop Repair and Services. I would give 10 stars to these fine folks if I could. I will never go anywhere else as long as they are in business. I got both my Husqvarna lawnmower and snow-thrower fixed fast and for a very low price. That was even taking into account the pickup/drop off fee. Incredible! Mr. Carr picked up both machines and had them done in about a week. Amazing since he had picked up 5 other machines that day alone. He's honest, fair, doesn't rip on you for having a "China made engine" like the old crank who runs a similar business on Broadway. Mr. Carr will not rip you off either. The cost to fix both my machines was cheaper than it cost to fix my just lawnmower from the other guy. I HIGHLY Reccom

Worked on a snowblower during the summer. When we went to start it for the first snowfall it wouldn’t start and the pull cord had no recoil. He tried to tell me That.a machine can’t sit for 7 months and still be expected to start. That’s funny since the machine is over 220 years old and has sat every summer since it was new and started flawlessly

I spent countless hours researching why my new (second year using it) snow blower wouldn't start - I spoke with the owner, he knew exactly what parts I was talking about - he solved my problem over the phone but giving my small but so significant advice that ANY online forum did not provide like to make sure that there is enough GAS in the freaking snow blower. Yes, I thought to myself that is impossible because I can see it clearly has plenty in it - long story short, he was absolutely right! 100% I couldn't believe it! I had to call him back and tell him how thankful I was and he saved me a huge headache from working on the snow blower when it is currently -14 F degrees outside (not including the Windchill hahah) but seriously, god bless him because he saved me so much time and who knew
