Went here to fill up a new propane tank that I got from Costco. There is a 1 star review on here stating they filled two partials and theorize they over charged him by saying they filled more than he believed his tanks could hold. For one thing the dispenser is certified...just like any regular gas station pump so I don't know what to tell you. You can see the amount pumped as well as it's on the display. As for me my brand new tank took 4.5 gallons. Which is right where it should be. Photo of tank and receipt to prove it. At the time I filled up 12/30/2025 price was $5 a gallon. As for where to go, as you drive in the propane filling station is to the right of the building. It's one lane so just be careful when you drive into the back. There will be a worker there to fill your tanks.

Wow! What incredible service we just had from Ulrik Sisk at Hilo Design Center. His title is Master of Applicance Repair and that is exactly the case. We have a Unimac dryer and I asked him if he could help service it. He was honest and said he had never worked on that make before but would appreciate having the opportunity to come and assess the situation free of charge. Long story short, Ulrik not only came out as scheduled but also repaired it quickly and efficiently. I strongly recommend you call HDC first if you need any applicances repaired. I have only had positive experiences every time I interact with them be it to fill propane or now with Ulrik. Brave Hilo Design Center!

I purchased a GE washing machine from Home Depot for $578, two years ago. It had passed the one year warranty. So I had a GE certified repairman come. He determined that two tiny reptiles had destroyed the control board! This resulted in it and other parts needing to be replaced. The repair and labor came to nearly $800! So yesterday after two and a half hours at the laundry mat. I set out to buy a new washing machine, that day. After seeing the five star reviews, I decided to try Hilo Design Center, first. The prices are a little higher than Home Depot but is made up by MUCH faster friendly service & delivery. In and out in 10 minutes no joke. Plus they have more stock, HD is mostly 6-8 weeks for orders. I ain’t going to a laundromat for 2 months while I wait. We bought a dryer when ours died, and now when the washer stopped working, Noah helped me with my second purchase. He also told me they have a contracted technician if something breaks down just call them. That’s awesome! Totally recommend them it’s worth it.

The team at Hilo Design Center (Ulrik, Richard, Noah) led by Bobby F. is wonderful! Our refrigerator stopped working so we needed to buy a new one in a hurry. My mom, husband, and I went to Hilo Design Center, and luckily, they had the one that we wanted. It was a GE French door refrigerator. I explained the situation (that we needed a refrigerator in a hurry) to Bobby, the manager. Bobby said that normally, they do their deliveries on Wednesdays (we went on a Thursday), but if we paid an expedite fee of $200, we could get the refrigerator sooner. We thought that was a reasonable price to pay since we needed the refrigerator in a hurry. Amazingly, Bobby said that they would be able to deliver the refrigerator to us in half an hour!
