Hoekstra Heating & Air Conditioning

Steve & Elvis helped with a serious problem. The in-house temperature was 28 degrees. They came and diagnosed the problem and were quickly able to repair the furnace with parts in their work truck. Work was timely and very neat. Steve and Elvis were easy to talk to and cost was discussed prior to any repairs.

Having the furnace die in January winter was the scenario. BUT… Every aspect of the experience with Hoekstra, from calling to scheduling an appointment with a kind voice over the phone…all the way to waving goodbye to Steve after the installation, was superb. Tim and James came into my home diagnosing the issue with my furnace in plain language and professionalism. CJ came next to ensure we received the appropriate unit size. He was stellar in his expertise and explained EVERYTHING. Then Steve the installer finished the experience. He was outstanding. We have always been happy with the service we’ve gotten from Hoekstra for the Lennox heater and central a/c we purchased from them through Costco, and this time was no exception. Steve S was very careful in explaining to us all aspects of the repair. He worked quickly and did a very thorough job, and was respectful of our house as well. He convinced us to start a maintenance contract for both our Lennox furnace and air conditioner, and we are glad that we did!

Had my furnace replaced on an "emergency" basis. Chris K/James G (sales/installation) were great. Front office dropped the ball! Getting something as simple as a paid invoice with date of installation, equipment (furnace/thermostat) model/serial number would likely be easy to transmit on/with invoice (especially since Hoekstra must be aware of a NICOR rebate). Have spent last day and a half pulling covers off furnace/tapping on thermostat just for basic information for rebate submission. Hoekstra isn't aware that customer might need these for a rebate? Times are a changin'. Had a similar installation in 2004 but the invoice included everything you might want to know - model/serial numbers, individual component prices.
