A quiet place. Hilly in spots. But very well maintained. Incredible views.
Nice observation tower but don’t navigate to it using this specific link (it will take you to a private residence since there is no direct vehicle access to the base of the tower). Use “Hoffman Hills State Recreation Area” to navigate to the parking lot from which you take a 1 mile hike on a gravel trail.
Absolutely amazing view and trail. Well-groomed (though difficult) trail leading to the tower (still worth the hike if you can). Definitely worth a visit at peak leaf color change in autumn.
Great easy to medium walking trail up to the Tower. Not paved and wet in the morning, but totally worth it at the end! The views are amazing especially the fall colors!
Love the different paths and how there's a map at each intersection. It's well maintained and every time we go we see some wildlife. It's great to be out in nature and just enjoy the sounds.
