We have a very old house with big plaster issues. I got their name from a friend who recommended them. She was very happy with the work they did in her house. Hoffman brothers came in and finished the room we were having done in one day. Everything was neat and cleaned up afterwards. The walls look great. I am planning to get the majority of my house done and I will be calling them.

No CONTRACT(OR) today will mark a job on the books WITHOUT a SIGNED contract and a deposit (Usually 20-50% of the total contract) before ANY work is scheduled or material purchased , so if anyone needs to move furniture before this happens the only person to be angry at is yourself, because unfortunately there are people in this world today who will schedule work and then refuse to pay upon completion! A written contract protects both you and the contractor because it is legal and binding and that ALL details of the "Scope of work" is to be done including timeline, material cost, labor costs etc are all contained within and if you need changes both parties must write and sign an addendum this protects you as the property owner and the contractor. So please do not get on here and attempt

Hoffman came to our home and looked over the job. Gave us a price and later on, dropped off samples of 2 finishes they could do on the job. Called Monday the week of the job to say that they would see us Friday, and that if everything was ok, they would see us then. My wife and I both took 2 days off work, emptied the living room/dining room, and went out for dinner. Upon returning home, Hoffman left a message on my answering machine asking me to call him. I returned his call and he then told me he scheduled someone else since he hadn't heard from us! Be sure you get a signed contract when working with this company, Hoffman is not a man of his word.
