Hogan Nursery & Landscape Supply

Came in to look around and purchased an entire Flat of Violas for $14.50. Best price around right now. The owner is friendy and helped me out in a medical emergency. My glucose sensor sounded in the office (low sugar level) and the owner immediately jumped up and asked 'Do you need something?' He gave me a Gatorade and proceeded to carry my small purchase out to the car while chatting about family histories with diabetes! So thankful he made sure I was OK to drive, what a gentleman!

I love this place! I found it on a whim because I was looking for a yuca plant as a gift for my mom, which I haven’t seen at big box stores. I called and the owner answered and told me they had a few different types, which blew my mind, I had no idea there were multiple! (I’m not a plant lady, obviously! Haha) I have been back several times because the variety is absolutely incredible! I told my mom, “Home Depot has 50 of the same 10 plants, but these folks have 10 of 50 billion varieties!” I love being able to purchased the fun random things that I see online with people who know exactly what I’m talking about when I show them a picture. And then they walk me through the planting area it’s good in and if it works for my intended space. They’ve slowly got me turning into a plant lady! My k

My landscaper recommended Hogan when I could not find a particular variety of Abelia to replace a couple that didn't make it last freeze. I must have called 10 nurseries in the DFW area and Hogan was the only nursery that had my variety in stock. SO grateful! And their staff, stock, and location all excellent! Heads up for any individuals visiting, this isn't a commercial type of place (like Calloway or Covington's), this is a very small operation. There is only street parking and it's physically a bit cramped to walk around the inventory (but only because they have it filled to the brim with an incredible variety!), HOWEVER the staff is so helpful and friendly and will assist you with whatever you're looking for, promptly, with a smile. And they'll help you get it to your vehicle too. H

Not sure where to begin. I chose this nursery because it was recommended by a landscaper. I called in advance and was encouraged to come in with a picture of the space I was needing to fill. My project was huge and I have practically no knowledge on plants. I took pictures and went the following day. The man running this place is a machine. He was helping sort out large orders as well as helping our family and a few other individuals. Ill never go back to home depot or lowes for my gardening needs. Everyone there was knowledgeable, friendly, clearly hard working, honest, and most of all patient. You wont be disappointed. Thank you Hogan Nursery!!!! My yard looks great!
