Hogue's Hometown Plumbing

Oct 2024, Mr Hogue's employee in his marked company pickup, struck my parked vehicle causing $3700 in damage. It took me two weeks to get in touch with Dustin to get insurance info. The employee did not have the insurance in the pickup. Hogue only had personal insurance and not business insurance so it was a fight to even get a partial payment from Progressive, they tried to deny the claim numberous times. Finally got 2100 of the 3700 from the insurance. Here it is Feb 2025 and I am still out $1600. Good business ?? You be the judge..

GRATEFULLY GHOSTED!!!!! He said he wanted to get to his first appointment to assess how long it would take and he would call as to whether he would be out that day or the next morning. Never heard from him, so I assumed the job would take the day and I’d hear back that night. I called the next morning and it went to voicemail. I called over the weekend twice, which went to voicemail. I called the following Monday and it went to voicemail. I left text messages and voicemails that were never returned. After reading the comments here it seems obvious that being ghosted by this company was a huge blessing! Not only has he ghosted multiple other people, which seems to be a pattern, but I’ve read other reviews here from very unsatisfied customers who either were left with incompleted work or sa

We paid them to replace three shutoff valves. They replaced one, told us they did all three, and then ghosted us. Tried to reach out a bunch of times because they told us they guarantee the work. Would not recommend using them. One of his old employees said he does this to almost everyone.

Was very happy with Dustin. He was very kind. Rate was very good. He treated myself and my antiques store very well. Did the job quickly. Explained everything to me. I've recommended him to many others. It's always great to find a qualified professional on whom you can trust.

Dustin responded and I spoke with him the first time and he was very polite and professional and he or a co worker came out and made a visit. He followed up via text after I contacted him and said he would get to it “next week”. He never showed. I again texted him and he again texted me back saying he would be there on the weekend. Nobody ever showed again. We understand the freezing temps wreaked havoc on pipes but it’s very unprofessional not to at least communicate back.
