Some confusion between what salesman told me and what I was sold. Better communication is needed and a more detailed itemized cost breakdown provided. I elected to do the demo myself and installation was delayed causing disruption of my home. Last minute I was informed that additional costs would be incurred for leveling work that I thought was included. In. O way was this work worth the additional cost but I was already committed. Projects turned out great. I trusted Home Depot but I would be reluctant to recommend the countertop factory to anyone. Sorry. Please call me if you want more information

I got security doors installed and it was a nightmare. It took almost a month for the guy to show up and he just slapped the doors on. Less than a week later, the doors were falling apart. They dragged on the ground when they opened and closed. I had to call and complain for another three weeks to get someone to come back and fix them. Then they wanted to fix them themselves by drilling unnecessary holes in the doors and walls. I'd advise you to get your own installers.

H.D. contracted gutter project to SFI Gutters, who subcontracted project to a smaller entity that was only able to do a portion of what was needed. ICE detained workers while in midst of my project & SFI was unprepared to handle situation. Job was completed by substitute workers who did less than satisfactory job. SFI declined to price adjust job. There was an issue with attempting to pay which required me to travel to a Home Depot store. What should have been a simple project became a debacle.

The things I purchase for my home are great, however the customer service piece was a nightmare. I will not be buying from Home Depot ever again.

Product works fine, however the language on my thermostat was changed.
