Home Services at The Home Depot

I thought Home Depot was going to send me a survey but they did not so I'm writing this review instead. Craftsman Allen Davis did an outstanding job installing new carpet on the stairs in my home. He answered my questions thoughtfully, helped me make some choices on my project and got the job done in a timely and expert manner. I would work with Allen Davis and the Home Depot again any time.

Entire second floor and stairs carpeted. Very efficient and professional crew. Moved furniture as needed. Did not disturb freshly painted walls. Great suggestion on binding edges of stairway carpet. Carpet looks flawless with no noticeable seams. Very pleased.

It took WAY too long , 36 days to complete my flooring order! It's interesting that the LVP that I paid for upfront took 5 weeks to arrive, yet I could order it on-line for next day delivery for an additional fee. The installers were ok.

Stephen arrived on time. Quickly and efficiently removed the failed water heater. The new unit was quickly installed. The best part was redoing the existing applicable plumbing and replaced it with a superior design.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Sent me incorrect documents, asked for them revised and sent back for me to sign prior to signing off on the job. Also told they don’t do itemized receipts when I asked to verify final statement was accurate. Instead of providing the documents or any sort of customer service I was just met with rude and nasty reps, calls at 9pm, calls on Sunday and when you call back the number is closed, and letters at my door over and over. I have not been unresponsive or avoiding the situation but Home Depot refuses to give me final docs. Will never use them again!
