I grew up a die hard Home Depot customer. SLowes always had the worst customer service and HD was #1. It seems like Home Depot has taken a dive lately. What happened? I used to work for another location and I know the previous emphasis on customer service. The attitudes of the managers and department employees are appalling at this location. A couple weeks ago, we bought a new zero turn mower and it arrived with a massive hole (big enough for a hand to fit in) in the back tire. We tried to call and get the manufacturer to just send new tires. No response. Since it was delivered from Home Depot in that condition, we went to the store. The older ladies at the returns area? DO NOT SELECT THEM FOR YOUR WINDOW INSTALLATION! My window replacement order from 2022 is still not complete and it’s currently April 2024. My order was mismanaged and repeatedly incorrect. I was over charged and told that it would be corrected at the end…. It hasn’t ended and I’m still paying on the incorrect amount. My home has been left in disarray and in violation of HOA code. And to make it worse, it keeps failing county inspection. RUN unless you want to waste your time and your money.

I bought a door from home depot, it did not come with a hole for the door knob. I inquired about door installation, the rep on the phone said that I had to get someone to measure the door.i explained to the rep the door was already measured and purchased. The rep stated tha they were not able to set up an install without sending a guy to measure which is a $40 deposit. I was hesitant to do this because it felt like this rep just wanted to make money on me. I told the rep that i was weary to proceed and asked what it would cost for the install. The rep stated "right around $200 and the $40 deposit goes towards the door" so proceeded to pay the $40 and schedule this pointless appointment. 8+ years living here in Lake Mary. Our family been shopping,everything our home need from floor to roof,this is where we shop. I Just made a purchase on on entire full kitchen cabinet. I was very surprised with the poor help from your sale associates,especially the "females" little details was given on the purchase i made. My husband was the one to ask all questions without much answers. People should stop judging by look. I am East Indian background, may look very young in stature,but is old enough to know when people have an attitude and is not doing a good job.

I used a company that was inside the Lake Mary Home depot - All Solar, to do my solar heating and airconditioning. They took my details at the Lake Mary Home Depot store and we set up an appointment for them to come to my home. I thought that as they were inside the Home Depot, they had been vetted and approved by the Home Depot. All Solar did a terrible job, I have leaks and was ripped off. I approached The Home Depot who are not interested in helping me and say they have nothing to do with All Solar.
