Hopkins Sand & Gravel Inc.

I normally don't write reviews but my experience with Hopkins Sand & Gravel Inc. in Webster WI warrants one. I collaborated with Cameron on the project planning to install a significant amount of riprap on our recently acquired lakeshore outside of Webster. Between his planning and the team's meticulous installation of the riprap led by Justin provided us with a beautiful well protected shoreline that exceeded my expectations and will help to ensure our lake lot remains in great condition for future generations! Thank you Hopkin's team for a job well done!

Justin was fantastic. He met with me on my vacant land and told me what he could do and then he did it. Him and his cousin worked well together, they were very efficient and completed the project quickly. Thank You Justin!

Last week they leaked oil all over my concrete driveway!! I calmy called and requested manager todd stop by on his way to discuss. They sent guy out with bag of floor dry, like it would have done anything?! Of course not, we were pouring a 2nd lane and the mud was still wet, and didn't want that crap blowing all over the fresh mud anyway!! I have poured over 200 yards of their mud here in the last 5 years alone. Manager Todd never stopped and they havnt tried to contact me or make it right. Guess it is time to switch to cemstone. BEWARE they snuck in $109.91 fee for using my credit card that I was never told about. I offered to pay cash or check even

They started out great. Did a great job on our septic system, but left us with a mess on our driveway and left huge trees that were supposed to be taken away. They did not complete the Contract and then billed us 4 months later for work that was not performed. We have had to buy 40lbs bags of gravel so we could get in and out of our driveway. My husband ended up in the ER for 6 days due to nose bleeds caused by the repetitive lifting of these heavy bags. We are now threatened with Small Claims Court as we won't pay them for work not completed. Watch your bill close and make sure they actually do the work that they were contracted for.

Justin was prompt and answered all our questions. This is the second time work need to be done on our septic system. We appreciate the excellent timely service! You can depend on Hopkins to do the job correctly with courtesy.
