Horizon West Garage Door Repair

Horizon and their agent, Garage Door Repair, are not honest or responsive. I gave them every opportunity to make this right, but they continue to ignore me. Their behavior is deceptive, and in my opinion, they operate like a scam. The agent from Garage Door Repair who replaced our motor failed to provide any documentation, including warranty information. He charged me separately for parts already included in the motor package—$275 for a keypad that came with the motor—and only gave me one remote. He claimed additional remotes were $175 each, then “gave” me one for free. Each motor package includes two remotes by default, and the ones he handed me weren’t even the same. Horizon West Garage Door Repair did a great job repairing my door. The technician was on time and very professional. I just wish the cost was a little lower, but the quality of service is worth it.

As far as I’m concerned, this company is a scam. I found them on my map in my car so I pressed the button to call them. My first experience was with an individual that instantly wanted my name, address and phone number before collecting any other information such as WHY I was calling and how I found them which I didn’t think was too odd but then later I realized why. She refused to tell me their address, although I saw it on the map right next to where I was driving in Southwest Winter Garden. She refused to give me any kind of pricing and said that she would have a technician call me. I said I don’t want to waste your time or mine and I’m sure your technician is not the one that you’re going to have going over pricing options and things with me and she just flat out refused to give me

I called this company, which was recommended to me, to check the springs on my garage door. They replaced the springs and everything was as good as new. Highly recommended.
