Hourglass Lake Pavilion

I made it to the bridge before the Pavilion and noticed a bridge over the pond, and I love that it gives you a brief discription on the insects, fish, amphibians and plants that dwell in the aquatic ecosystem.

It's easy to walk over here if you're at Longwood Gardens, but there's really nothing to see here. The Pavilion is not a marvel, but walking over the lake is really cool and seeing the meadow is okay (maybe more of the cute stone house in the distance though). If you have a member of your party who doesn't or cannot walk a ton, then don't bring them over here.

A medium walk from the entrance and there’s not too much to see. A little bridge over a pond with plaques about water animal life.
