From our first consultation, Ray was exceptional. He took the time to walk our entire property, clearly explained the problem areas, and outlined a precise, no-nonsense plan for the installation. He was patient, answering all our questions without ever making us feel rushed. His knowledge and confidence were immediately reassuring. The work itself was completed efficiently and with impressive craftsmanship. Ray and his crew were punctual, respectful of our property, and worked diligently through some tough conditions. They kept the site remarkably tidy and clearly took pride in doing the job right. Now, after several major rainstorms, our basement is bone drying. The system works perfectly and invisibly. A pleasant dry house starts from the bottom up. Like so many New Yorkers, our house had flooding issues and a basement from the 1900’s, just waiting for the next storm for water to flow in through cracks in the foundation and then waterfall through the access points that were at street level. We didn’t want to go through that ordeal twice, so we called HRC Waterproofing and they did a perfect job sealing the outside world out. Even painted the unfinished floor and left me a nice mancave. I can’t recommend HRC Waterproofing enough. Extremely professional. John and Ray are excellent communicators. Very responsive and they keep their word. They are punctual, and complete the job in a timely fashion. Not to mention that the work is excellent! The laborers were neat, thorough and answered all of my questions and concerns. HRC, in my opinion, is the premier waterproofing company in Brooklyn. They do excellent work at a reasonable price. My cellar developed a serious leak during heavy rainfall through the street wall. They sealed the rubble foundation, installed an interior French Drain at the base of the wall, installed a Sump and Pump to collect and eject the water, connected the pump discharge to the house sanitary line and installed a heavy plastic membrane to trap any water that gets through the wall and direct it to the French Drain. They promised me that they would finish in one day and they did. Including a complete and thorough cleanup. In a recent heavy rain my cellar was dry.
