Jeff Salcito and his entire Huntergreen team have consistently provided beautiful designs, plantings and maintenance for our urban back garden. It's hard to describe the transformative joy he's brought to our outdoor spaces over the past seven years of working together. From front stoop seasonal plantings to the creation of a true urban oasis, he imbues his work with a love for landscaping and garden design. He studies your soil, your space and gets to know what works best for you and your neighborhood. He works with your budget and timelines, but is also direct and honest about the scope and limits of a project, spending an enormous amount of time on details and refining plans with you. Jeff designed and planted our garden in 2013, and it has been one of the very best things about our home for the past 12 years. It looks beautiful in every season, and nearly all of the original plants are still thriving. Jeff's design sense is exceptional. Our garden feels elegant and welcoming at the same time — there's a real artfulness to it, but it's also lush and alive. Our outdoor space is relatively small, but Jeff made it feel surprisingly spacious, with a few distinct areas. And as the garden has matured, it has only gotten more beautiful — while somehow staying perfectly contained within its footprint, never overwhelming the space. Loved working with them during the entire process of revamping/redoing our backyard right after the pandemic as they were super detail oriented, knowledgeable, and efficient from the design process right through to completion.
