Huntington Metro Parking

Today at 6:07 PM, Google Maps directed me into a garage during my Uber trip. After waiting for about two minutes, I exited to the front of the garage. I contacted the responsible person, but they showed poor communication and unprofessional behavior. Despite this situation, an amount of $8.98 was charged to my Visa card. I kindly request that this charge be reviewed and refunded.

This is a spacious parking garage, however it can get a little confusing or be a decent walk depending on where you park. Periodically I observe the metro police deal with unruly customers. If your employer provides a travel card to cover public transit but does not allow parking expect to pay significantly more for parking.

As far as Metro parking, garages go, I can’t complain. I park on the “north “side usually, off Huntington Avenue. There is usually plenty of parking on a weekday even at eight or 830 which speaks more to the state of our world and garbage that’s happening in Washington DC as opposed to the garage itself.

Nice parking garage, but you have to pay, of course. No free or other options to parl at the metro, unfortunetly. It's kind of crummy that you're not given an option, at least. I forget how much it costs exactly, as it's always my husband who pays. At least, parking in a garage ensures your car stays in the shade! But for having to pay, they could at least provide some public restrooms for customers, other than just porta potties on the street. And maybe those were only for construction... Who knows?! They were very nasty, either way.

I like parking here when taking the metro. It’s an easy in and out, reasonable priced, and plenty of garage parking.
