Idaho Marble & Granite

I worked for Alan a couple years back. My experience with Alan was horrible, I worked for him for about a month. The things he did were extremely unprofessional and childish and I have always put in my two weeks and been as professional in the work place as I can. With Alan I could not, I ended up arguing with him before quitting and giving him a piece of my mind. He decided he didn't like that and didn't pay me my last paycheck. I had to go through the states labor agency to get it, he ended up lying and say he ended up losing and they made him pay me. I heard about him hiring other people and doing the same thing without paying them!! There is plenty of good honest company's in the treasure valley but Alan is the worst person/business owner I've worked for.

We had an awesome experience! Alan made it easy and fast. We asked for an over hang on our sink and he did it no problems. From template to install was really fast! He had some unique slabs to choose from too. It is very pretty and looks great on our cabinets. We will be calling him again if we ever have the opportunity to upgrade to a bigger house. Thanks Alan!!!!

We had the most amazing experience with Alan Converse. Because of a problem with another installer we hired Alan . He came over on a weekend took measurements, picked up our granite from Rock Bottom Granite that is absolutely a wonderful company too and installed our granite on Tuesday. The most professional, clean, and excellent workmanship anyone could ask for. Awesome to work with Alan!!! We had a huge island and some tricky bits for him to work with. The island slab was so large it didn’t fit in the truck. It took three muscular, gentle men to get it through the front door and into the kitchen with only a few inches to spare. He and his crew did an awesome job! Even more beautiful than we imagined! We highly recommend Alan!!! Thank you for a beautiful job!!! It’s PERFECT!

Alan is a very nice guy. And though he could get me the piece I wanted the same day and I asked before I left of he would be able to take make sure the flaws on the edges of the big slab were not a part of my cut, it came with a hairline fracture in one corner and a scuff mark in the opposite corner. When I told Alan about it, not even a discount (or some money back) was offered for the flawed slab that is to become a part of our kitchen remodel. I am hoping a friend will be able to polish the scuff mark.
