Inspired Hardscapes

My husband and I hired Mike Kuzemka, the owner of Inspired Hardscapes to do a job in our backyard in June 2024. We gave him a 50% down payment for the job ($5900). After months of excuses being given by him why he couldn't do the job, we asked to cancel the job and get a refund. He has yet to give us our money back and it's now a year later. We have hired a lawyer and still nothing. We will now be taking him to court. We recommend NOT hiring Mike and this company unless you are willing to potentially lose thousands of dollars and not have your job completed and have to deal with the hassle of trying to get your money back. Very frustrating that businesses can get away with this. Stay clear of this company.

I hired mike the business owner to do a job, I gave him a 50% downpayment for the job. After months of back and forth I was unable to get him to come and do the job with him giving me a new excuse every week as to why he couldn't come. Ultimately I fired him. He agreed to return my deposit to me but it has now been weeks and he has not, telling me that he doesn't have the money. I would only hire him if you are willing to potentially lose thousands of dollars and not have your job completed. Also, the first 5 star review below is from the business owner himself.
