iPark - 99 3rd Ave Garage

AVOID this cheap and shady garage!!! Minus zero star. It forces you to pay bogus service charge in addition to your pre-paid reservation when you check out. It's a very clever scheme: offering low cost on reservations to lure you to book first and getting you screwed on the spot when you check out. It costs time to have SpotHero (a wonderful company to work with) reconcile the extra charge if it's reconcilable. How those garage people face their families at the end of each working day is beyond me.

I should have looked at these reviews first. Don't park at 99 3rd Ave! I booked a space online, and the attendant charged our Subaru hatchback as oversized without telling us. The checkout attendant just shrugged and said she couldn't change it. Then we open the car and they left the windows down in 29°F weather. There was snow all over the front passenger seat. Horrible service and deceptive practices.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! CAR TRAP! I left my car here through SPOTHERO, the parking never told me I had to pay here too. So double the fee. I only had tap at the moment and not a physical card, they refused to give my car till I had a physical payment which they never say in advance. I don’t recommend this place at all. The owner was extremely violent when resolving the issue and very unhelpful.

Do not park here. Carlos, the garage attendant, will mess up your car and blame you for it. He caused damages that cost over $7,500 to my car while reversing my car for 2 feet’s distance, and said it was my fault for parking it in a spot he didn’t like. He gave me his company’s phone number and refused to talk about it any further, saying he has nothing to do with it anymore. For what it’s worth, I’ve been nice to him for the entire year since I moved to the building here. I’ve waved to him, said hi and chatted often, and gave him a holiday card with tip. He can be nice to you if you don’t inconvenience him, but that turned around very quickly for me. He also sits in customers’ cars with the engine running, idling the car while he’s talking on the phone. He’s been unreliable with other cus

Would even give 0 stars. The boss Ray is very rude with their clients. Their payment machine was not working, he tried to overcharge us and got violent when we denied payment (as we had already paid 3 times). DO NOT GO THERE!!
