I have used Island Refrigeration twice. Techs were courteous, efficient, and informative. 1st time in an emergency - he was there within an hour of my call. Diagnosed the problem and fixed it in under an hour. I appreciated he warned me up front a weekend call was time and a half. I found their price fine. 2nd visit the thing had started dripping water (a lot on a Friday night of course! hate that thing), but this was not an emergency visit. Rob spent time in the attic and ceiling filter access area diagnosing the problem. He explained the problem showed me how to fix it with monthly maintenance and also explained how it could be fixed for the long term avoiding regular visits into my attic with bleach. RME

Hands down the best company to call for any AC issues. On time, super professional and kind. The price quoted was the price we paid, which goes far for us. We had the honor of having the owner work on our issue and he was absolutely lovely. Thank you so much and highly recommended.

They came by to look at repair ordered by (commercial) tenant; told tenant they could NOT fix, needed total new system. Two months later I (owner) called them for repair estimate (unaware of of tenants interaction) and they told me same. I paid @$124.00 for a service call and called another company that came and fixed the problem. One year later, I they were trying to put a lien on building for $184.00 for non-payment of the original billing to (commercial) tenant. Rather than argue: I paid a second $124.00 to hopefully NEVER have to interact with this company again. Caveat Emptor; that's my experience with Island Refrigeration.
