We called Joe to give use an estimate on our roof. Part of our roof is an 8/12 pitch and part is a flat roof. The flat roof is the one that had been seriously neglected. The kind of roof that you hade to watch where you walk or you would go through the roof and into the attic. Joe came in at $4000 under what we thought it would cost to fix the whole roof. We had just bought the house and we were having some HVAC work done along with water lines moved. We told Joe we need it done right away. Might as well do everything at the same time before we move in. Joe showed up a couple days later. Two days after that they were done and cleaned up. J. Alexander Roofing did a great job replacing the shingles on our roof. They also converted the box vents on our roof to new ridge vents during the install. Additionally, we had them install black fascia on our gables and they did a great job with that also. We are happy with the quality and color of the Owens Corning Driftwood shingles installed on our roof. As with any large project, there is bound to be some snags and Joe the owner addressed those items and completed the project to our satisfaction. I recommend considering J. I recently had some fascia ripped from the side of my home due to the high winds in the area (Jan 2026). A friend recommended J. Alexander Roofing. Within 1 hour they were onsite removing the loose fascia, and within 24 hours were able to find a color match (not an easy task), and repair the damage. Kudos to J. His crew had the whole roof done in 5 hours, it looked exactly the way i wanted to and everything in my yard was cleaned up.
