I had recently had a contractor install a 12"X12" cedar pergola on my patio in my backyard. I felt it necessary to have a gutter system to direct the water from the patio into my flower beds. I got four estimates: $1595; $1,844; $8,000; and Jim's estimate. The only difference was the three estimates were with larger companies and dealing with sales representatives and instructed me I needed gutter guards. Jim's estimate was less than 1/2 of the lowest bid and told me I did not need gutter guards. Jim's work came with a 3 years workmanship and 15 years materials guarantee.
