After contacting several deck builders, we added J&S to the mix for comparison. At first I was skeptical of a 2 man operation with no crew. I initially met with Jon and outlined what I had in mind. He was very patient and explained why certain aspects of my vision were not doable. He offered solutions provided samples as well as advice. The other contractors were steering us in a direction that was convenient for them and not necessarily what we wanted to accomplish. Jon was making an effort to give us what we wanted. Upon further consideration, we thought that a 2 man operation would be a good choice since there would be no finger pointing or lack of supervision for a big crew that just wanted to finish and move on to the next job.
