Jack's Lawn & Landscape

Didn't plow until almost 5pm after it snowed the night before. Last time it snowed they weren't there until 1pm. No communication around the unusually late timeframe during quoting or on the snowy day itself.

Had an employee come out to give a quote gave all the information needed left and heard no response from them on when we would be getting our quote. A week later I gave a call to them and they say that it takes a week and a half or longer to get a quote. I’m sorry if you have been doing this job as long as they have a quote would be the easiest fastest part of the job. Could have been thrown together in a day or two, not weeks.After me calling them on regards to my quote they proceeded to give me a call regarding this review and not to call about the quote. They are more concerned about reviews than doing good by their potential customers.

I would have recommended Jacks before the business was sold to the new owners as I used Jacks for more than a decade when owned by Tom Jack, who was wonderful. However, please beware the new owners price gouge clients now. Their charges now are absolutely exorbitant and excessive. I understand increases due to inflation but using a different lawn care/snow removal service on the other side of town for my other business locations, Jacks is now astronomically priced. Beware if considering using them.

They did a great job removing and trimming some of our trees. They were professional, efficient and left the area very clean. The next day, the manager came to review the work and decided that they would trim a nearby tree for no charge. Very friendly and responsive staff when you call. I’d recommend them for their tree services.

UPDATING REVIEW 11/13: I just received a call from the owner of this company, who was incredibly polite, professional, and took time to really listen to my experience. He even apologized and validated that some of the less-than-stellar moments were not ideal, or what they are striving to achieve as a small business. He took this opportunity as a learning and growing experience, and I could really tell he was being genuine in the way he spoke to me. The sincerity went a long way. In fact, my husband and I will be hiring them again in the future, and I look forward to a second chance experience with Jack's, with improved communication.
