James River Grounds Management Inc

I live in Colonial Crossing. CC is a United Property Associates (UPA) HOA property. UPA has a contract with James River Property Management. James River is the worst. They cut the grass without picking up paper, Spray poison next to homes to keep from getting off the riding mower. Do not pick up dead limbs from trees. If the grounds are wet they use heavy equipment and make holes. Tire tracks with grass all over the sidewalks. The HOA takes no responsibility and ignores residence complaints by continuing to do business with this company. James River damaged the siding in my home in July and I am still trying to get it repaired. DO NOT MOVE INTO COLONIAL CROSSING BECAUSE THE HOA (UPA) IS IRRESPONSIBLE.

They have been doing a terrible job for years and our hoa continues to use them! If they dont miss your yard, they will miss spots because they do such a rush job, and they always leave a complete mess for you to have to clean up, yet they are here from 7am-6pm or later each week , and there are several of them. So what is it that they actually do? I've tried calling and never get a live person, I have even left messages that ae never returned. Poor work, poor customer service, I would not recommend them EVER!

Not particularly happy with this company. They were hired by our property management company to complete a 126 lot community and seem to come late and leave early. The quality of work is not impressive either. It’s a 3 man team basically using a weedwacker to cut everything. Yards have been skipped anywhere from 4 weeks to some not even being cut. I don’t think they own a leaf blower and have maybe one push mower. After I finally got my yard cut, I had to use a leaf blower and my garden hose to clean my siding and fence.Do NOT give them your business. You’ll regret it.

Our HOA hired them. There is no on-site management. Their work is unprofessional and sloppy. When the ground is completely saturated, they run their heavy duty lawn equipment over the grass creating huge tire tracks and damage the lawn areas. When pruning, they seem to miss shrubs and bushes and leave piles of trimmings in the mulch beds. When edging or fertilizing, they leave mud piles and fertilizer on the sidewalks. Instead of reaching down to pick up broken tree limbs and branches, they step over them. When we file a complaint with the management company, they try to reassure us that any lawn damage will be repaired. Never happens. This company has a way of destroying our beautiful lawn areas. They have a contract but I don’t think they know how to read English and make sure they abid

This company handles the landscaping at my subdivision which we pay for through our HOA dues but they do horrible work. They usually spend more time on their phones or laying around than working. When they do work they miss areas and damage homes and fences. They do not properly take care of mulch beds. The service they provide is way overpriced as I’ve made that objection at almost every HOA meeting I attend. I would not recommend them to anyone. Seriously a kid with a lawnmower going door to door would be a better choice than these so called professionals.
