After years of fighting our aggressively overgrown back hill, we hired JJ Landscaping to help. The owner, Jared, listened to our wants and needs, provided thoughtful and professional recommendations, and executed the design beautifully with the hard work of his wonderful landscaping team. I especially appreciated Jareds candor with all of my landscaping ideas/questions, his collaboration on my plant-more-native initiative, his regular check-ins/updates, and the seamless business flow (contracts, invoicing, etc.). I highly recommend JJ Landscaping! Time to start saving the for next project. 😊

We worked with Jared and his team to help us put the finishing touches on our new home construction project in Franklin Park. We could not have been more pleased with Jared's knowledge, professionalism and passion for the work he does for his customers. Jared did a great job of listening to our needs, taking some concepts from photos and making our yard amazing. He selected the perfect trees/plants and strategically placed boulders and steps in all the right places. We were also impressed with how well he appears to treat his employees and each one of them were very friendly over the multiple weeks they were working on our project. We could not recommend JJ Landscaping enough and we look forward to ongoing business with Jared and his team!

Jared and his crew were great with the project we planned. He helped us plan every aspect of it and made sure it would be beautiful and sustainable for people who don’t want high-maintenance plants. They removed shrubs, small trees, redid four whole mulch beds with new plants and removed all of the old rubber mulch we had before. The night they finished the project, we had a massive thunderstorm that washed away a lot of our grass seed and they came back to fix it the next day! He also gave us detailed instructions for care going forward to keep it looking beautiful. Highly recommend him and his crew!

Jared and his crew were happy to take on a large and difficult hillside landscape job. Jared's design was excellent and needed very little adjustment, although he was very responsive to questions and feedback. The crew was polite, quiet, professional, and very good at what they do. The surrounding site was kept tidy during work and left in excellent condition at completion. Material/plant quality looks very good with healthy plants, nice looking boulders, and finely shredded mulch installed. Post-install support has been good as well. Jared and the crew will be back for more work in the near future. Update Sept 2024: More projects completed. We like Jared a lot and we enjoy having his crew at the house even more.

I met Jared in Spring/Summer of 2022 after I had been reaching out to several landscapers in desperation. My house is in a bowl, & did not have proper drainage in place to keep it from flooding whenever we had our massive downpours during that season. As a new homeowner, I was in panic because this was not documented anywhere on my inspections or disclosures. Jared came in, saw the problem areas, & took the challenge head on - while also informing me that this may not solve the problem. Jared & his team started working on my property July 2023, after having to jump through a series of hurdles. He remained professional through each interaction with my neighbors as well as with me. The project itself took around 3-4 weeks to complete, with a few unexpected hiccups along the way. At each hic
