JB Landscapes and Lawn Care

Definitely would not recommend. Con artist that will take your money and never finish the job or answer calls/texts. They were really nice when they were here, to earn my trust I presume, but left when I was at work and couldn’t check that they actually finished the job. I hired them to rake leaves and clear the vines/brush off the fence and you can’t even tell someone was hired to clean the yard, pathetic. I paid them exactly what he quoted without negotiating. I even gave them water, let them borrow gas, my rake, and shovel, and they took off with my shovel and would not return it. I’ve attempted to call and text Julian Barrientos over 20x in the last two weeks and he blocks the calls and rarely answers texts, with empty promises to come mow or give back the shovel, which he hasn’t done

Agreed to do some fence work and sod at my home. Offered no written contract but we managed to get a written agreement via email encompassing the scope of the work. Cashed a $2500 check within one day of receiving it followed by excuses for several weeks as to why they were unable to start the work. Four weeks later, Julian finally arrived at the house to 'renegotiate'. I informed him that we were choosing to not 'renegotiate' or to use his services at all at this point. My wife and I allowed for 2 weeks for repayment of the cashed check in an attempt to be reasonable. No contact so far after more than a week. We will be filing a lawsuit on Monday afternoon. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. Update: went to court, he didn't show up. We put liens on his property.

JB did work for us leveling planter areas and then installing limestone and bark. The simple part of leveling and installing bark went well. The limestone install which required more planning and skill did not go well. He and his guys needed coaching and correction. JB then wanted to clear a side area of our yard. He was paid and half the job was completed. He has since stopped responding. If you are working with him I suggest complete the full payment at the end of the job. Simple jobs might be ok…. More complicated jobs… look elsewhere.

He and his team did a spectacular job on my yard!! They took care of my front, side, and back yards. They picked up tree limbs, mowed, raked, and cleaned up my flower pots. I also asked him if he could refill some pretty decent size holes that my dog her dog in my backyard, I had already previously purchased 200 pounds of soil to fill the holes. He and his team also took care of that for me. I would definitely recommend!!

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT do business with this company. They will show up to do half of the job, then disappear for several days and never even bother to answer your calls inquiring as to when they are coming back to finish the job. They're ringleader is a compulsive liar and will give you every excuse in the book as to why they have not returned to finish their work, including "it's too hot outside".
