JD Electric installed a whole home generator for me about 3.5 years ago. Now they are concentrating on solar installation exclusively and have dropped all their previous customers that they had installed generators for or performed other work. They will no longer service and maintain equipment they installed prior to switching to solar. Note that we were not contacted about this policy change and only found out when I contacted them for an appointment. At my service last year I was assured that they would continue to service my generator even though they were not installing new generators. They also no longer hold a Generac warranty certification so I have to now go to one of two other Generac dealers who are twice as far from my home as JD Electric is. Hopefully one of these other dealers
