I wanted to make a comment on the care and help from JD Forest Management LLC, and Brynne. I was kept informed on every step of the replanting and after care of my burned property. They cut down the small burnt trees across my property after the Oregon Rd Fire, replanted trees across 65 acres, and bud capped the trees to protect against deer browse. They helped me through the cost share process, as well. I'm very grateful for the services that were available to me.

During July 2021, there was a forest fire that consumed 188 acres of our property in North Idaho. It was essential, in the fall of 2021, to set up a plan to mitigate as best as possible the result of the fire and precisely carry out that complex plan in 2022. JD Forest Management played an integral role in creating and carrying out this plan. Together with the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS, part of the USDA), JD and I formed a large team of professionals and contractors to implement the plan. As a result of the Pioneer Fire in July, 2021, there was extensive damage on our property, therefore we needed to undertake a considerable and complex burn rehabilitation project. We have been using JD Forest Management to look after our family timberlands for the last 5 years. Jake and his team are very knowledgeable. They have toured our property extensively and have helped us come up with a long-term forest management plan for our acreage. When we want to harvest a site, they take care of all permitting, do a great job of marketing our timber, finding the right loggers, and making sure the harvest is done the way we want.
