I hope NO ONE has to go through what I went through with this company. I'm writing this review to encourage you to find someone else to do your renovation. My experience working with them was an absolute nightmare. LEARN FROM ME & DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! I hired this company to do a renovation for me in Sedona. They required over $50k to even start the job. The way they applied the payment was crediting that money towards future work that was not even started. So you were constantly paying for work that was not even started yet. I also learned that they were also EXTREMELY overpriced. More than double what some other companies would have charged for flooring, painting, drywall, etc. On top of that their work was absolute crap. Some things were just meant to be. When faced with major renovations on our rental house in Cottonwood, John Snyder came highly recommended. As the work on our house progressed, I grew to appreciate John’s efforts to stay in touch via texts, emails, calls, photos and even videos, since I live in Ohio. I respect John’s thinking, problem-solving, efficiency, transparency and concern for his customer’s happiness. Having lived in an 1829 home for almost 50 years, there aren’t a lot of repairs, renovations and restorations that we haven’t experienced, working with many contractors. I almost cried and wished I could be there in person when he sent photos and a video to show the finished product. Thank you for everything, John.

I have worked with John for years and he is always a pleasure to deal with. Has done everything from resurfacing decks to major drywall repairs. Has done a great job.

We have used John and his crew for years from large roofing projects to small cabinet modifications. We have always found them to be honest and fair. Would highly recommend them!

If NEGATIVE STARS would apply... We could go on for an hour COMPLAINING about this amateur clown operation. Shoddy worksmanship... Next to nothing on communication! But please do your homework and look at the tangible facts..... 3 (THREE) Official Registrar of Contractors complaints in the last year! 1.9 YELP review rating On their OWN website.. the only positive reviews are from 7+ years ago!! Things have definitely changed at JDS. Just ask around....... We found this out TOO LATE!! Please don't make our mistake... After hiring these clowns.... we had multiple neighbors walk past and say.... "WOW, I wish I could have warned your about this so called "General Contractor" Sorry Neighbor :( After FIRING them, we had to pay other people to fix their work!! Please contact me for more info P
