A WARNING TO ALL FAMILIES CONSIDERING JENKINS. After having a tree limb come through our roof several years ago, we had Jenkins out to replace that damage. They responded promptly and initially things seemed fine. Within six years, we discovered significant moisture under the roof in the plywood they replaced, and after going back-and-forth with them, they ducked responsibility, refusing to help even when exhaustive photo evidence showed the problem originating with the moisture in the area they worked on. We hired Jenkins Restoration and worked with Dennis and Peter through out the entire process. To say they were an amazing team would be the short end of it. Period. They came out to board up the house and set us up with a company to complete the contents portion of the content’s removal. If you have ever gone through a casualty you will have people coming up to the home to give you all of their cards and information acting like they know you. Not only are you in shock but you also feel like you have been put on display. Jenkins was with us through the demo and the rebuild walking us through the step by step process to get us back into our house as soon as possible. Very disappointed with this company. Poor communication, project went on for too long, and we felt more like an inconvenience than a customer. I had to constantly ask questions, request a schedule, and point issues out after the work was done for the day. They left garbage from work completed that day in front of our house for 2 nights. I sent them a message as soon as we came home because the garbage blocking one of our garage doors. They left for the night with no communication about the garbage. They said it would get picked up the next day, but that did not happen. The garbage got picked up 2 days later. I would recommend following up with your customers after a job is completed to see how you can improve or make this experience better for your customers.

My previous review for water remediation was 100% positive — Desmond did a super clean job, was friendly, and communicated really well. However, things happen, and some mold showed up later. Jenkins came back and made it right. After the follow-up work, my environmental hygienist confirmed that mold levels were back to normal. Desmond and his manager Nathan were kind, understanding, and very professional. Mistakes can happen, but what really matters is how a company handles them — and Desmond handled everything with care and integrity.

USAA sent them out after a water leak damaged a wall and the carpeting in two rooms. Benjamin was so professional and communicative during the process. Jose was so kind and did a wonderful job with the repair and new carpeting. You can't tell where the drywall was cut out. I'm planning on hiring them to do some general remodeling work around my house. Update: They did a fabulous job recarpeting and painting a room for me. It looks fabulous. Benjamin and Jose are so Great to work with. I will be hiring them again . Update #2 I hired Benji and his team to paint my interior, resurface my hard wood floors, and install new hardwood on my stairs. Jose did a fabulous job on the paint.
