John Dolan Flooring, Kitchen and Bath

John Dolan and his team were a delight to work with on our just completed master bath remodel. John is a straight as they come. He is consummately professional and knowledgeable. He is frank in his evaluations and makes his projects structured and flow beautifully. The have this remodelling thing down. They have their own crews in almost all of the trades you would need. Their crews are well supervised and the transparency and documentation are meticulous. He works with his sisters as project managers. We worked with Lorraine and she was a font of knowledge, guided us in our choices and is fully informed. Our project flowed just as they promised and were "on it" all the time. I can recommend them heartily for any complex project.

It was a pleasure having John Dolan Flooring, Kitchen and Bath update a small worn kitchen. The design staff was knowledgeable, patient and mindful of one’s budget. The crew was hard working, experienced , and extremely pleasant and did a great job. Every day, they left the work space spotless. And the painter who was recommended was meticulous and did extra work ( the ceiling and caulking) on his own. Experienced, knowledgeable, meticulous and kind and good humored. That’s as good as it gets.

We couldn’t be happier with our remodel! From our first meet with Caroline to the completion of the project was a great experience!! After other quotes, we decide to go with John Dolan due to the “all inclusive” management style as general contractor for all vendors and their cabinetry options. We didn’t have any of the worries for scheduling any aspect of the remodel! John and his crew were outstanding! Whether it was the plumber, electrician, rip out crew, install, finished work, plasterer, or flooring, they showed respect for our property and answered any questions we had. We absolutely love our new kitchen, and the overall remodel experience with Dolan was excellent. Caroline was excellent during the quote/planning process. We came in with a design in mind, and Caroline helped us by making excellent suggestions for adjustments and guided us through picking finishes with knowledge and patience. A major highlight was the crew. Every single person who came to our house was kind, hard working, and good at what they do. You could really tell they were determined to get things just the way we wanted them! There were a couple unexpected challenges that could have really ruined the outcome (engineer determined we had to reinforce floors, we had to unexpectedly move a post in order for the design to work). 4/10/23 This was the third project (a bathroom remodel) that we hired out to John Dolan. Our project involved changing the layout of the existing bathroom, and once again they worked with us to achieve exactly what we wanted! We have met with a number of contractors over the years and John Dolan is still the only one who provides an itemized project proposal. All of the workers who came into our home were polite and professional, showing up consistently and cleaning up each day. In addition the sub-contractors (plumbing, electrical, plasterer, etc) were all excellent— we were lucky to have worked with them on our previous projects and were once again very pleased with their work.
