Johnson Storage & Moving

I have no words. I am horrified. I have never experienced anything like this. I am moving for work, and my company was paying for corporate movers. I got a second quote which was way cheaper (at $9,000). They swore it was the same service. Below, you will see how my move went. Maybe I’ll get lucky and there won’t be any damage, but these are just the things I saw (I couldn’t be in all rooms). So, I have two $3000 OLED TVs — you can see in the photos the “TV boxes” they used. They laid furniture directly into hard wood floors. No floor covering except for only on the entry floor. No stairway protection. No banister protection. The dolly wasn’t wrapped. My brother is in the US Navy and him and his wife, who is also in the Navy, have to move to Guam. The military paid for them to have their personal belongings shipped to Guam for them. His wife and her mom drove from Georgia yesterday to Waxahachie just for this reason. This morning it took 4 phone calls and transferring multiple times and hang ups on the phone to get someone to finally tell us when they are coming to get the belongings. They first told us 8-10am. around 10:30 we called again. They said then 11am-1pm. at 12:45 we called and they said they were “in town getting a drink” and would be there soon. it is now 1:25pm and they just now got here as I was writing this review. I have now used Johnson a couple times in different cities, and it's been a wonderful experience. Johnson made it super easy to coordinate pickup, shipping and storage. The prices were great and service was exceptional (particularly the pickup of some very large materials). They are super good with communication and logistics. Looking to use them for a third time soon.

I hired Johnson Storage & Moving for a complicated move down to Miami from Dallas that included over a months long stay in storage and shipping my expensive motorcycle and I could not have had a better experience. Angie was an absolutely wonderful quarterback for the entire move. She was a delight to deal with, always on the ball and never left me hanging throughout the entire process from start to completion. Scott was also great to work with on moving day both in dallas and Miami and the team on my final move in day post storage was great too. Johnson was more than transparent on pricing, willing to work with me on how I can make it more affordable and not a single item was broken. I would highly recommend giving them your business.
