The sign on the front door clearly stated "contractors only" Hmm, I thought I could be considered a contractor "retired", so took a chance and entered the business. Immediately the Johnstone Supply representative informed me, since I'm not registered with their company, by policy he wasn't permitted to sell me anything. Bummer, I'm kinda thinking! After much haggling, finally ended up having a local HVAC owner we know to call in, to clear us in being able to finalize the purchase of goods, billable to his Johnstone account. It's Johnstone's policy to not let the general public the honor of purchasing from them, so we'll deal with it, no biggie.
This type ofcompany is why you can't work on your own equipment they have the parts needed but will not sell because I'm not in the super secret ripoff club
Mike and the crew at Johnstone in Cape are good guys and will go to extremes to help the customer. Tried them out when They opened in Cape and glad I did. Thanks for everything guys.
