This place won't even tell me if they CARRY THE PART to fix my furnace - I don't want to know the price (I'm not looking to expose what the actual markup is), don't want to buy the part myself, or to fix anything -- I want to confirm that my incompetent heating contractor, Bantam Wesson, who has charged me nearly $2,000 for parts and service for my heater in the last 12 months, is not just telling me that the furnace needs to be replaced because it's convenient for them. Johnstone's "will talk to trade-only policy" is just BS. It's straight-up collusion with the contractors - one group covering for another allowing them to make more and more money off the consumer. Ironic how appropriate their address is: "Shady Street, Milford".

They're always helpful, and always have the parts that we need. It's a shame that homeowners are taking the time to negatively review a WHOLESALE supply house. If you want to hack together your own repairs go on amazon and leave reputable businesses like this one alone.

This place has the parts I need to fix my furnace, but won't sell them to me because I am not a contractor. A little frustrated because I already have been without heat for the weekend, and now am going to have to use amazon....(and wait another 2 days). Love supporting local businesses over Big Box, but can't...all for a pressure switch.

My husband came in today needing tens of parts for the furnaces on his family’s farm - necessary to keep our product (and thus our business) alive - and was denied because he isn’t a “contractor”, meanwhile RE Michaels, Sid Harvey, etc all do business because we’re a family business needing wholesale quantities, and we’ve been doing business with them for years. This was easily a multiple thousand dollar order. He’s done all of the HVAC work on the farm for years and years and never had an issue anywhere. It would be one thing to just say I’m sorry, we don’t do business with those without an HVAC license and be done, but to be told he’d be sold ONE “as a favor” when we need 15… why?
