Journeys Fencing Club

We’ve been with Coach Bao’s fencing club since the very beginning, and it’s been an amazing journey over the past two years almost. We’ve seen so much growth in our child—not just in fencing skills, but also in confidence and mindset. From being shy and scared (and sometimes crying after a loss), to now being able to handle both wins and losses with a stronger, more mature attitude and character , as well as great performance in local and regional fencing competitions—this has been the biggest takeaways for our family. A big reason for this is Coach Bao himself. He truly cares about his students, and his teaching style focuses a lot on building solid basics, correct form, fencing skills and discipline. Pretty good club but too small facility. I wish coach could consider bigger space

I have only been fencing for about two months, and because of the coach at journeys fencing, I have been improving rapidly. He is incredibly supportive while also clearly having a passion and a knowledge for fencing, and knows how to share that with his students. Because of his teaching (and a bit of natural ability) I have been able to quickly catch up to the class I was in despite starting months after them, and while they may still be better than me overall, I have gotten good enough where beating them in single matches is no longer unrealistic for me, and we are all very close in skill. This club has given me a passion for the sport, and a teacher who I believe can give me everything I need to become great. I highly recommend joining us, you won’t regret it

The studio is newly renovated, looks fresh and tidy. Coach is very friendly and knowledgeable. Kids have fun here.

Very good place for fencing, would highly recommend for any fencers or people who are looking into it!
