Absolutely horrible experience with lawn care service. My formerly perfect grass began to die after a treatment in late June. Within a month, my backyard was dead - literally dead to the point experts couldn’t ID cause. I had two very credible grass experts note that it was most likely a combo of over fertilizer and hot weather. It took far too long for anyone from Boehlke to come over for a look and by then it was too late. The worst part has been trying to get any satisfaction from Boehlke as they are taking NO responsibility. As I noted to their owner, I hired you to care for my lawn and it’s dead. Steffen and the crew dida fantastic job revamping my backyard after several years of neglect on my part. They replanted with low maintenance plants and shrubs and redid the patio. I am very satisfied with the results, the timing and the price. I highly recommend.

Paid for a 3-5 year MasterSeal Asphalt Base Sealer. After 1-1/2 yrs it started to fall apart. Sent them some pictures and asked if they could come out to look at it for warranty that was July 30. We called several times and they have ignored us. I have to leave a one star because they won’t let me leave a 0 star review. We have been with them for 7 yrs. They do our lawn care, they still send me notices about when they will come out to do our lawn but the driveways are verboten. We even spoke with the owner Mike who said he would come out, never did. So now I will never recommend them again. What a way to end your business relationship, by burning your loyal customers over seal coating. Hope it’s worth it! See ya!

We hired the firm for snowplowing services. They have been timely and efficient. Great work. What more could you hope for? Thank you JR Boehlke!

They did a good job shoveling the sidewalk and walkway to the front door — except for the area of the sidewalk between the drive and road. That area was hard packed and icy, as was most of the drive. Looked like the plow’s tires packed those areas. Now, credit where due. We called and complained and the next morning they had a plow guy back out. He worked at it for a while and, before he left, had both the problem drive and adjoining walk areas in pretty good shape. So, on balance, we are satisfied with their plowing service. If they get it right the next time, we’ll go from satisfied to happy.
