Kerns Carpet One Floor & Home

I would not recommend this company based on my experience. The installation process was extremely disappointing from start to finish. There were two no-shows during the first week of installation, and when I called to ask for updates, the response I received was surprisingly rude. My furniture was moved and the carpet was torn out, yet the new flooring wasn’t installed for nearly two months. During that time, my home was left in disarray. When the flooring was finally installed, the quality of work was unacceptable. The adhesive was smeared on both my old floor and parts of the new one. Although they attempted to repair it, the damage is still visible. Additionally, the transition strip in front of my fireplace has an unsightly seam across the front. Update: I changed the rating to 2 stars from 1 because that's about how our overall experience was. After not getting much help, I reached out to the Brookfield store and worked with Matthew. He was great, clearly understanding our frustrations and doing what he could to expeditite things. His communication was also prompt and we never had to wonder what was going on. Still, after the carpet was installed the second time it didn't match. Matthew was proactive in getting us into the store to select a differnt style and color. The 3rd time everything finally came together and we were able to get the rest of our things moved into the house. Great experience with Kerns. This is the first home where we had to purchase carpeting. Rachel was excellent to work with. She helped us understand our options by answering our questions and giving us just the right amount of information. The response time to email questions were always timely and she kept us informed about her schedule, so we knew her availability as we were making our final decision. The entire process was very easy and convenient. We purchased the carpet during a sales and then waited a few months to schedule the installation. The overall experience was great and we would recommend working with Kerns.

Kerns did an excellent job in installing our new den flooring. The staff was easy to work with. They helped us find a flooring that matched our existing hardwood flooring in our condo. They followed up on getting us promptly scheduled for our work. The installer was very helpful in getting out furniture reinstalled after the flooring was done. The new floor looks great. The installers did a quality job. I certainly would recommend Kerns for any new flooring.

We have worked with Kerns twice in the last 8 months on 2 projects. Both times were were extremely pleased our sales person, Keith. He knows his stuff and is very pleasant and extremely helpful. I also want to thank the person that helped us schedule installation. We had a tight deadline due to an upcoming wedding and she worked diligently to accommodate our schedule.
