JR Putman Heating & Air

I contacted JR Putnam yesterday and they came out and did estimate the same day. The pricing was exceptionally fair based on my knowledge of 51 years in the construction industry. The crews showed up at 9 o’clock this morning and they were done by 2:30 PM. It was a complete tear out of the old system both heating and air conditioning, a new compressor and fan unit outside, and a Wi-Fi enabled thermostat. I am blown away and more than thankful to have contacted them to do the work. Thank you, JR Putnam.

We had a complete new system installed in our home. The service since installation has been below expectations and the service hasn't been what this dealer expounds. During installation the side panel was damaged by the Technician and as of today's date it still has not been replaced. We have received nothing but the run around, from the part is on backorder to we are expecting it any day. We even placed a call to the manufacturer and according to the manufacture (GE) the part isn't on backorder but we still have to go through our dealer to order the part, which in our case is JR Putman. The unit was installed in July 2025 just letting one know how long we have been dealing with this issue. Does not respect the woman of the house. I never was shown a plan. Hitachi is by far the worse. This was just installed. I am giving it back. They want to charge me 3 thousand. Paid by check... Said credit card to billing. They cashed the check fast. JR never spoke to me. They sent a manager Brian. Nice man. He said the unit that I said was not putting needs a part. Everything was purchased new..... Obviously NOT.

In case your time is short, I'll just say if you haven't already fallen into this hell, RUN AWAY! Welcome to our nightmare .... We agreed to have JRPutman remove and replace all the insulation in our attic as well as the duct work. When they left on the last day of the project, we didn't notice the following right away because we didn't go behind them to see if they had properly cleaned up. Not that it would have mattered because of the time of day and sheer magnitude of what they left behind. It is 4 months later and we are still dealing with the mess and the aftermath. When they blew the insulation into the attic, they did nothing to keep it from blowing back out the attic door. It blew into our closet, our bathroom, covered our shower floor, it even filled the window, blinds and curtain

We’ve worked with Tyler before on plumbing projects and he has always been punctual, effective and friendly. He came to inspect a leak under our floor and discovered a hot water pipe that had sprung a leak under the floor. He repaired the leaky pipe and took lots of pictures to show us the damage done to the foundation. He discovered some mold and recommended a company JR Putnam works with to clean up this type of situation. We were very pleased with the caliber of work he did and his advise on next steps.
