My experience with this company was incredibly upsetting, and it centers on how I was treated by Jose Posadas. From the very beginning, I told Jose Posadas that I was not ready to commit to the scheduled date. I expressed hesitation more than once. Despite that, Jose Posadas continued pushing me to book. I felt pressured into locking in a date I had clearly said did not work for me. When I later attempted to reschedule in good faith, Jose Posadas did not work with me. Instead, the company relied on a voicemail technicality and showed up anyway — not to perform a move, but to collect money. They took our $500 deposit and did not complete the service. Excellent movers at a reasonable price. Jump street movers communicated well, showed up promptly on the day of our move, handled our stuff with care, hustled! And helped us settle in in our new home by making sure things were in the right place, and set up the way we wanted. The crew was very friendly. We will certainly be recommending them to any of our friends who may be moving in the future.

This review isn’t about a minor scheduling mix-up. It’s about how this situation was handled from start to finish. When I first spoke with Jose Posadas, I was clear that I was not ready to confirm the moving date. I said that directly. Instead of advising me to wait until I was certain, I was encouraged to book immediately to “hold the spot,” with the understanding that changes would not be an issue. That understanding turned out not to be accurate. When I tried to adjust the date, the company proceeded anyway and charged us $500. No move was completed. The crew left. We paid for a service that did not occur. The four men who moved my home were better than good. In every way they were great. Professionally managed and worked seamlessly together like a team. Polite, courteous, clean and respectful. All of them worked hard.
