Kaufman Fuel

We came home and water covered the area of the basement floor where the furnace and hot water tank are located. We eventually found that the source of the water was an overflow pipe at the rear of the furnace. Hot water was dripping out of it very quickly. We placed a call with Client Service and the person who dealt with our call was very professional and considerate. Within minutes of the that call, John, the service technician , called us to say he was on his way and he arrived soon after that. He quickly assessed the problem, explained it to me, and fixed it. We are very pleased with, and grateful for, the very professional service we received from John.

We woke up and found out we had no hot water. We called Kaufman/Hop Energy in Bridgeport for emergency service and they were very professional, understanding, and willing to help solve the matter. Kaufman scheduled an appointment for that same afternoon. We were so thankful when the tech (Carlos T.) called and arrived earlier than expected. He was very knowledgeable and provided details to what the problem was and how he would repair it. He promptly replaced the faulty part and was able to get the furnace functioning shortly after. We have been with Kaufman for over 30 years and they have never let us down. We also appreciate seeing the same Technicians servicing our furnace for many years - that says a lot about the company's commitment to it's employees and customers. Additionally,

My air conditioning unit was not working during this latest heatwave... I called kaufman service, even though I knew they were very busy. I needed it fixed right away because I was going to be out of town for 2and a half weeks and I was concerned about a pet I had. Ed and Mike came and quickly diagnosed the problem. They explained everything to me. They left for another job and came back and defrosted the unit and fixed the problem.I was very impressed with their efforts and willingness to help me out! It was much appreciated!
